Well it is somewhat official... we are heading to the states to do a look see trip in MA for our upcoming repatriation. We are all excited to tour our new state and hopefully find a place to land this summer. We seem to make our best decisions jet lagged and hopefully this will be no different.
The kids and I got a kick out of some of the differences when traveling abroad... Like the bathrooms. This particular toilet in China plays a tune while you go and for those that are going to be spending longer then they expected can even heat their bum while going. Some buttons we were scared to attempt... we have seen some unusual stuff in Asia and didn’t want to risk it....
These were the toilet options in Japan.... The dryer was a nice awkward touch....
We have met some terrific pilots... and we feel the need to interview them a bit after some of the flight issues going on in the country (missing planes etc)... not sure the other business class people are thrilled to see our crew board, but tend to charm them quickly....
The TV deprivation in China certainly helps when getting on a 16 our flight. It is the only time we get to binge watch!
Ayden took right away to the first class travel.... but no matter how hard you try...
eventually jet lag sets in....
Hey kids what do you think of this house.... kids, kids??? Not even Katy Perry could keep them awake during the day.
Chris grew up in Northern MA and we visited one of his families favorite stomping grounds, The Park Lunch. The kids got a kick out of seeing an old picture of their grandfather on the wall....
We spent some time exploring Portsmouth, NH. Bloody Mary’s on the river... I can totally get use to this!
Not sure where exactly we will land... but it has been exciting thinking about our next adventure!!!!!
