The new addition!

Meet Bella!

Little did we know that on December 1st 2015, our lives would change! Bella became a part of our family on January 23rd. We had talked about getting a puppy when we moved back from the states after living in China. We even bought a house with some running room and a fence! It was taking the leap that seemed to be the difficult part. The kids were relentless… and in the end, we are so glad they were!

Like most huge leaps for Chris and I, the decision to get a puppy came during a long run. And fate brought her to us within a couple of days later. I made an information call on a Thursday and by Saturday we had her!

There is such thing as love at first site!!!!

She fits right in and has developed her own tight bond with us…

Kicking off 2016

No surprise we didn’t hoop it up at New Years Eve… we were all sound asleep long before the midnight. It is because of this that we were up and out early kicking off 2016 doing what we love. With who we love…

Hard to see, but Pop Pop (Kristen’s Dad) hand carved the kids walking sticks with their names on it.

With a little snow, we were able to fit in some skiing too!

We kicked off the new year and a return to school with morning breakfast with my girl!

So love our small New England town.. where they ask if you want the regular. Reminds me of our Federal Hill days before kids, where we could walk into Ransoms, sit and serve with out saying a word.

This is going to be a good year… walking, running and skipping through it with my favorite people!
