Family fun night at the beach…
Finally some warm weather and time to escape to our favorite sandy spot. School wrapped up less then a week ago and we are kicking off summer with our feet in the sand and sun on our faces…
Our beach time however is short lived in New England. Soon the green heads will arrive and drive us away until the next full moon. Such a bummer that we have such a short summer season and we have to share it with such vicious creatures.
Cranes Beach, Ipswich
So love this beach… and will miss so many things about it when we move.
We will NOT miss how cold the water is!
We love having Chris home this week! Taking full advantage of our time with him.
I have always loved how calm the water is here… It reminds me of the surf on the West coast of Florida.
Looking through the dunes over to Plum island… Bella and I have walked this board walk so many times!
4th of July on Little Sebago, Maine
- One of these guys ran the boat through shallow waters and broke the prop.
- One of these guys lost AND found his expensive sunglasses in the lake.
-One of these guys wears yellow with pride and has a great story to go with it.
-One of these guys impaled his foot jumping off the dock requiring an urgent care visit.
- Two of these guys hooked ALL of us onto wake boarding
and had the patience to get us up and riding in one weekend!
- One of these guys is surviving life the hard way.
The first mates

The master class on how to not spill wine on a moving boat!
We rock lake life!
College Life long friends…
July 4th
Perfect night… great friends and a spectacular fire work show!
July is the month for firsts … Garrett’s first solo flight.
Thanks Jet Blue for all the snacks and free movies!
I think he now has the adventure bug… he informed us that in a few short months he will be old enough to go to the airport and get on any flight without a parent.
He is missing one vital detail — MONEY to pay for such adventures!
Great conversation starter for being a few short months away from ALSO being able to start WORKING!!!
Look who is in town!
Got to spend the day with one of my best friends Jen!
Next door neighbors for 9 years but friends for 15!
Jordan and Jack were close pals… now Jack is over 6 feet tall!!!
Boston Day
Site seeing around the Seaport with my crew. Love being able to take the train into the city.
Rural life with a hint of Urban living is a perfect mix. So much to explore in Boston!
We needed our China fix and went for dim sum.
So many great restaurants to go to but the kids choice is always China Town!
Can’t be here without getting the signature Chinese picture.
Meanwhile our guard dog hard at work…
Last year Ayden had the easy win with being “most likely in the pool”
This year Bella has solidly secured this win!
The cycle goes like this… sleep ~ swim ~ sleep ~ swim
There is always that one … looking for a free ride. Bella’s new pal Bill
Wanted to throw in a picture of the house because it has been so difficult having to view the for sale sign every day… These are the days I dream of during the long winter months. My neighbor has the most beautiful flowers and I am taking full on advantage of them in this picture.
The most common room in our house! Love our outdoor living space.
My car pool pal. Always up for a ride… especially…
When we are driving to one of our favorite ice cream joints!
LOVE Bensons!
