Mothers Day
What a difficult “first” holiday without my mom. My kids however kicked it out of the park with some fantastic homemade cards and an afternoon by the pool. Once the card was read, I have NO idea where any of the candy went. But I have a hunch… I started off the day so sad that I was not able to spend the day sitting with my mom and talking… I realized that she gave me such an incredible gift in being such a great role model. I truly am grateful to be a Mom to three beautiful, kind and intelligent children. Without her support, I never would have been able to experience this kind of love.
Good thing my floaty has a high weight limit… Nothing like floating around the pool in a bean bag with my best pal!
Love having my Dad in town to receive a brand new hip!
Very little keeps him down, but this is his first overnight in a hospital. I wish all the luck to the nursing staff with this one. (Garrett teaching Pop Pop how to do selfies with filters)
Last pre surgery bus stop walk….
Pre Op holding room…. Surprisingly not nervous.
And only a few weeks later!!!
Official new hip!
Tiley girls made it through…. And we are proud of how quickly and easily my Dad recovered.
We may not have been able to celebrate my Mom this Mothers day, we at least had a piece of her with my Dad visiting... We talk about her all of the time and miss her more then anything in the world!
Bellas was really bummed when her TV surfing, day napping partner returned to the West Coast of Florida to break in his new hip.
Tiley girls and some Cheng Jiang fun!
Spent the day with our great friends and neighbors from Boston.
Perfect day out on the boat with the Easley’s!
Chris and Eric - Two hard working men catching some down time.
Two of my favorite men in my life…
Off to a softball banquet
And that is a wrap up of May!
