Kicking off April with hopefully the last storm of the season… Quick hit with a few inches, but we are heading down to Florida soon so we have sunny skies in our near future! Soon enough it will be ~fun in the sun and with my parents!
Even Bella wasn’t too impressed with the snow…
She found ways to stay cozy in the cold…
Within a few days, the snow had melted and we were hopping into spring with a father daughter dance !!
We attempt to keep some of our Chinese traditions/skills up that our Ayi Fang taught us. After taking Garrett into Tufts for his annual “big” eye exam, we ventured into nearby China town in Boston and found our favorite dumpling wrappers at their local grocery store.
Off to Florida for Spring Break! Total shock by the kids that I actually got us to the airport early enough to grab a treat. (Really, even I was surprised!) I have never seen the airport in anything less than a full-on bionic run to my gate.
We haven’t seen Nana & Pop Pop in several months so we are all pretty excited!
It has been a long year of navigating the medical arena so seeing my parents this time really means a lot to all of us. It has been a long year and we are so happy to come out of it on the the winning end. We are so blessed to have them in our lives. My parents rock!
Kayaking through the Mangroves! I certainly know where I get my energy from!
Placida Key, Florida
After watching Pop Pop play tennis, we beat the heat at our favorite ice cream shop!
This year is particularly special — My mom has never felt well enough to join us on our adventures. After a very long year of medical issues, she was very up for our day out boating and we were over the moon to have her with us.
We are so fortunate that most of our family members live near a beach. My parents beach is one of the best shelling beaches around.
We definitely look for some unique shells to add to our collection, however what we really scour the beach for are shark teeth!
The only thing missing from our trip was Bella… oh and Chris (lol!)
Back to school … Bella’s morning perch as she watches Jordan head off on the bus before our first walk of the day… looking toward warmer weather in May! Bring IT ON!
