May.... Blazing HOT May!

We kicked off May walking for the the Relay for Life. It is a wonderful fundraiser that is near and dear to my heart. Jordan and I pulled our first all nighter. We had a fantastic night and I spent the next two weeks recovering. :)



We are closing in on the end of the school year and have several summer plans in place to celebrate. The kids are planning something big for my 40th this year. I have a hunch it has a mouse in Orlando involved. There are lots of giggles and secrets!!

The Pool is OPEN! April is here....

While the pool stays open all year around.... swimming is so much more manageable when you don't feel like you need a wet suit. It is hard to believe it is April already and that school will be out in 5 short weeks.

Even with the busy sports/activity schedule, we still manage to make it to the beach.

Ayden and Chris had a special date day at school. He was certainly her prince that morning!

March Madness.... Celebrated Garrett's 4th "Gotcha Day at the Beach

We finally got some great weather!!! The Carey Crew is back at the beach (not that the cooler weather ever stopped us.) Today we are celebrating Garrett's 4th "Gotcha Day." It is more of a day for Chris and I to remember our Garrett adventure and to appreciate how truly lucky we are that he came into our life. Our tradition is to just have a "special" day as a family. Garrett choice took us beach bound. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't appreciate my life and children one way or another.... but today, I look into those brown eyes of my son and think... where would I be without you. Happy "gotcha day" Garrett!!! We love you!
