May Update 2019

The lengths we will go through to hang with my kids!
You can almost FEEL the excitement here!!!!

Braces DAY!

Before

After

Mothers Day

What a difficult “first” holiday without my mom. My kids however kicked it out of the park with some fantastic homemade cards and an afternoon by the pool. Once the card was read, I have NO idea where any of the candy went. But I have a hunch… I started off the day so sad that I was not able to spend the day sitting with my mom and talking… I realized that she gave me such an incredible gift in being such a great role model. I truly am grateful to be a Mom to three beautiful, kind and intelligent children. Without her support, I never would have been able to experience this kind of love.

Good thing my floaty has a high weight limit… Nothing like floating around the pool in a bean bag with my best pal!

Love having my Dad in town to receive a brand new hip!
Very little keeps him down, but this is his first overnight in a hospital. I wish all the luck to the nursing staff with this one. (Garrett teaching Pop Pop how to do selfies with filters)

Last pre surgery bus stop walk….

Pre Op holding room…. Surprisingly not nervous.

And only a few weeks later!!!
Official new hip!

Tiley girls made it through…. And we are proud of how quickly and easily my Dad recovered.

We may not have been able to celebrate my Mom this Mothers day, we at least had a piece of her with my Dad visiting...   We talk about her all of the time and miss her more then anything in the world!

Bellas was really bummed when her TV surfing, day napping partner returned to the West Coast of Florida to break in his new hip.

Tiley girls and some Cheng Jiang fun!

Spent the day with our great friends and neighbors from Boston.
Perfect day out on the boat with the Easley’s!

Chris and Eric - Two hard working men catching some down time.

Two of my favorite men in my life…

Off to a softball banquet

And that is a wrap up of May!

April 2019

Head of the household!
We are all ruled by Bella

Once we got the boxes unpacked, it didn’t take long before we were starting our first household project.
Chris is building an outdoor kitchen.

The Finished product!

So this is happening… learners permit online drug course and test.

Not going to lie, the drug test was brutal… we learned more then we ever want to know about controlled (uncontrolled) drugs. How eye opening!

We have our first permitted driver in the house!

Had the amazing opportunity to go to Tortuga!!! What an experience…
Best Country music venue we have ever been to!

We have had more visitors in three months here then we did in four years in Boston. Our GREAT friends from Newburyport came to visit us. The O’Donnell’s lived 20 minutes from us in Boston. This visit was the highlight of my entire month!!

Three of my favorite men in my life!
My Dad (center) came for an extended visit to get his hip replaced on the East coast.

I cannot believe he is actually going through this… Not sure he is going to love my bedside manner, but this surgery is long overdue.

I must admit, I get the majority of my energy from my Dad. He is always on the move and loves to be outside. The most active man I know. He is up every morning to walk Ayden to the bus stop. I look forward to the day when he can do this without pain.

Doing some last minute celebrating of the old hip….

Last few days before surgery…
But we may have finally tired him out.

Our lifeguard on duty….
Bella Boo

Wrapping up April… at the beach. No surprise there!
Happy April in Florida!

March Update 2019

House is unpacked but still not organized. Looking for some comfort food and getting back into some of our old traditions… Home made dumplings!!

Jordan made the Varsity Softball team!
It was a toss up between softball and flag football.

Pop Pop cheering Jordan on

Truly enjoying some fun in the sun with the Carr’s!
Enjoying a Saturday on their boat with one of our closest friends!

Had to put some of our new home “to do lists” on hold as Ayden was insistent on making an herb garden.

Weeks later the final product! Loving the fresh basil and the rosemary in particular.

Cannot do a post without a few Bella pics.

Cousins rock… Scout and Bella

Garrett’s photo of Bella doing what she does best…. Sleeping!

Training for Cross Country… Garrett makes running look so easy.

A great visit from the Michigan Pegram's!
